Average Water Rates

Our water rates are based on the cost to serve. Our rates are among the lowest in the nation. Average water rates for MP&W customers as of 12/31/08 are:
Residential Water – $2.6899/1,000 gallons
Commercial – $1.0545/1,000 gallons
Contract – $0.2740/1,000 gallons

  • Muscatine residents and businesses use, on average, 28 million gallons of water per day.
