Cable modem access is available to all businesses and residences that can receive MPW Digital TV service. This service territory includes the cities of Muscatine and Fruitland, as well as a few nearby areas, such as Ripley's and Hickory Hills.
Dial-up access is unlimited. Anyone with phone service can sign up for MachLink dial-up service. (Dial-up service is most cost-effective if Muscatine is within your local calling area. Those who live outside the local calling area will incur additional long distance phone charges.) Muscatine's local calling area includes Muscatine, IA; Eliza, IL; and Illinois City, IL.
DSL (Digital Subscriber Link) access is available to those with DSL-qualified phone lines in Eastern Iowa. To find out if your phone is DSL-qualified, call (888) 262-3422.
Wireless access is available to qualified homes and businesses within a 10-15 mile radius of the wireless transmitters on top of our Highway 61 Bypass water tower, and our Power Plant along the Mississippi River. Qualification is based on the ability to receive an adequate transmission signal.
