Cable Modem service is limited to the MPW Digital TV service territory. (Muscatine, Fruitland, and a few

Basic Service: Pay in full at the time of installation and receive equipment with a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty Plus: Pay in full at the time of installation and sign up for Warranty Plus service (no commitmentrequired).
Warranty Plus Savings: Purchase the equipment at a special 50% discount by agreeing to subscribe to
Warranty Plus service for a minimum of 24 months. (In the event that service is terminated before the expiration of the 24-month agreement, the remaining balance of the 24-month Warranty Plus subscription agreement, at current Warranty Plus rates, will be due in full at the time of service cancellation.)

Multiple Connections
MachLink Home Networking sets up Internet in every room of the house with up to five devices online at the install time. (More than five can be connected at install time, but additional charges may apply.)

Required Speeds
MachLink Turbo (speeds up to 5Mbps/1Mbps) Cable Modem or higher is required for home networking due to several users accessing the system. This speed allows you to be more efficient and saves you and your family time and money.
File Sharing
With MachLink Home Networking, you can have individual work stations and store popular files all in one place where everyone can access them. You are able to do more in less time, and there is no waiting if someone else is using the Internet.
Equipment
Equipment for MachLink Home Networking is provided to the customer. Home networking wireless system equipment becomes property of the customer except for the router. There is a $225 unreturned/damaged replacement charge for routers.
Security
MachLink Home Networking provides a built-in firewall, parental controls, and web filters. You'll have all the benefits of MachLink cable Internet service and none of the worry, plus a local HelpDesk to rely upon when needed.
System requirements for Windows and Mac OS 10.2 and up (not Bluetooth or other). Both require either a PCMCIA interface or an open USB port.

Devices
You can have up to five computers (devices) connected to your home network at one time. (Additional charges will apply for any over the five device limit.)
Range of Access
The range will vary based on many sources including interference, number of floors and walls, building materials used, and presence of large metal objects. These factors can drastically affect the results. Range of access will be determined at the time of the site survey during installation. Generally, the signal can often be found within 150 feet of the gateway as long as nothing is blocking it.
(1) Standard Service includes installation and local support.
(2) Standard router is owned and supported by MP&W. If service is terminated, router must be returned. A $225 charge will apply for damaged/unreturned routers.
(3) $40 charge required for additional wireless NIC. Customer may use existing wireless NICs if 802.11 B/G-compatible. No discount given for installation. To maintain local support, MP&W wireless router must be used.
(4) Estimated cost/equipment becomes property of the customer with the exception of the router.
