At MP&W, we base our electric rates on the cost to serve. Our residential rates are among the lowest in the nation and the State of Iowa.

  5.90¢ /kWh (over 700 kWh)
Commercial I Electric 10.50¢ /kWh (first 700 kWh)
  6.50¢ /kWh (over 700 kWh)
Commercial II Electric 4.70¢ /kWh (first 200 kWh/kW of actual demand)
  3.10¢ /kWh (all additional kWh per month)
Industrial I Electric 4.60¢ /kWh (first 200 kWh/kW of actual demand)
  2.83¢ /kWh (all additional kWh used per month)
Industrial II Electric 4.60¢ /kWh (first 200 kWh/kW of actual demand)
  2.83¢ /kWh (additional kWh up to 10 million)
  2.60¢ /kWh (all additional kWh used per month)
